Qihoo 360 Launches First Permanently Free Anti-virus Software

Chinese online security service provider Qihoo 360 has formally released the final version of its latest free anti-virus software.
Qi Xiangdong, president of Qihoo 360, said that the new version anti-virus software has no restrictions to users and any individual and company can download it and use it for free forever.
In July 2008, Qihoo 360 launched 360 anti-virus beta. Qi said that through more than one year's tests and improvement, the new version now features outstanding performance, and it reduces the rate of false positives and increases the scanning speed with its unique software whitelist and technology.
In addition, the new version has cancelled the Activation Code, so users can download the software at all times and places. At present, the free software is available at the official website of Qihoo 360.
