According to reports in Taiwanese local media, Microsoft has set up 100 Windows 7 consulting sites in Taiwan to help local users better understand this new operating system and to provide related technology consulting services.
Following Microsoft Taiwan's launch of Windows 7 operating system on October 23, 2009, the company provides two major supporting channels, including the online technology supports and the entity consulting channel, to make real-time handling of various technology problems.
For the entity channel, the company has formed partnership with its 100 distributors in Taiwan. Users who want to experience Windows 7 and to learn about the operating procedures can go to these Windows 7 consulting sites and specialists on the spot will give suggestions on hardware and technology problems. These 100 consulting sites are located in Taipei, Tao Yuen, Chungli, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung.
Apart from the entity channel, Microsoft Taiwan also provides online technology supports, including a Windows 7 solutions center and some technology tools, to give instant information and assist to users.
