China Southern Signs Strategic Agreement With China Telecom

China Southern Airlines Company Ltd. and China Telecommunications Corporation have inked a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Guangzhou to launch a long-term cooperation in basic communications, aviation services, product sourcing and resource utilization.
China Southern has been long-time partner of China Telecom. This new cooperation is planned to improve the IT level and customer service capabilities of China Southern, said Si Xianmin, president of company.
It is understood that China telecom will integrate its advantageous resources to tailor value-added services such as switchboard services, integrated offices, 3G ticket booking, mobile phone two-dimensional bar code check-ins, and mobile video surveillance to support the improvement of internal communication conditions of China Southern.
No financial details of the deal have been announced.
