Eco-friendly Electronic Park To Head For Yancheng

A letter of intent has been signed between Yandu District of Yancheng in Jiangsu province and the China Electronics Enterprises Association at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the building of an eco-friendly electronic industrial park in Yandu.
The park will be the first of its kind in China. The first phase of construction of the park will cover 1500mu and involve a total investment of CNY3 billion. It will include a commercial facility that disposes of 1000 tons of used lithium batteries annually. Upon the completion of the park, it is expected to be over 20 square kilometers in size.
Yancheng Electronic Information Industry Park, which is located in Yandu District, covers a total area of six square kilometers and is home to many high-tech IT enterprises such as Qinda Electronics and Laidi Site Integrated Circuit.
