Having already fed the Chinese market for over 20 years, the international fast food giant McDonald's has now announced plans to update its brand concept and will soon start to provide free wireless Internet services across China.

According to Lin Wenke, vice president for McDonald's China, the company's new brand concept includes three parts, including new exterior design, new interior decoration, and new staff uniforms. In the next three years, 80% of its restaurants in China will complete the brand concept update.

As a part of its new development plans, McDonald's will soon provide wireless Internet services for free in China. Lin revealed that by cooperating with China Telecom, McDonald's will first launch the new service in its 50 restaurants in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. The wireless Internet coverage in these four cities is expected to be completed by the end of April 2010.
