Shanghai Municipal Publicity Department and China Unicom have signed a framework agreement to implement an in-depth cooperation for propaganda within the city.
The two parties will reportedly cooperate in mobile phone video services, mobile phone music services, digital reading initiatives, and mobile phone payment platforms, providing cultural products and services to consumers for performing arts ticketing, newspaper subscriptions, and education consulting. Collectively, these activities will further promote the integration of cultural consumption by citizens and visitors in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta.
Meanwhile, Shanghai plans to introduce the carrier's call center into the city's international cultural service trading platform to offer technical support for integrating the cultural contents of the city.
Under the agreement, the two parties will also implement diversified talent training activities and further integrate resource advantages of both parties to create a mutually beneficial situation and to jointly promote the prosperity of Shanghai's cultural industry.
