365anfang.com, a website engaged in providing online transaction security information, has been formally launched in China.
Jointly launched by China's Ministry of Public Security, Liaoning Provincial Public Security Department, Taobao.com and Alipay.com, the platform is expected to play an important role in regulating online transaction behavior and preventing online fraud for Internet payment services. Taobao and Alipay are both subsidiaries of Chinese business-to-business online company Alibaba.
Liu Shibin, an official from the Ministry of Public Security, told local media that they hope that 365anfang.com will better meet consumers' demand for online safety and protect their interest through the cooperation with Taobao.com and Alipay.com.
Shao Xiaofeng, president of Alipay.com, stated that the launching of 365anfang.com will provide a new channel for users to learn about how to transact deals online safely. Shao calls on more companies and social forces to join in this initiative and undertake more corporate social responsibilities.
