Chinese PC maker Tsinghua Tongfang is making consumers happy with a new one-year replacement after-sales policy for its notebook products.
This policy covers the company's eight designated types of notebooks which were purchased after August 1, 2010, as well as all newly-launched notebooks in the future. Starting from the day of the purchase, all these notebooks can be returned and exchanged to a new one if performance failures listed in "China's Regulations on the Liabilities for Repair, Replacement and Return on Microcomputer Commodities" occur within 12 months.
According to Tsinghua Tongfang, the eight types of notebooks currently included in the new after-sales policy are Fengrui K42, Chaorui K42, Fengrui K462, Fengrui K463, Fengrui K46C, Chaorui K46C, Fengrui K469, Fengrui K48C, and Chaorui K48C.
Compared with the traditional 15-day replacement policy required in the warranty regulations, Tsinghua Tongfang's new one-year policy greater protects the rights and interests of consumers. At the same time, the company promises to complete the acceptance of related cases in one working day and complete the change of new products in five working days.
