The Ministry Of Culture Rejects Three Imported Games

Since the initiation of the Imported Network Based Games Inspection by the Ministry of Culture in April, only three out of six imported games have passed inspections.

The three that did not pass inspection were deemed unhealthy to developing youth. In August, the Ministry of Culture will begin investigation of internet-based cultural institutions for legal operational licenses and illegal pornographic information.

Mr. Tuo Zhuhai, deputy director of the Cultural Market Division at the Ministry of Culture, declared the Ministry, along with the Ministry of Public Security, has drafted a measure that issues fines of CNY10,000 ¨C 30,000 to spreaders of erotic information, revokes their operational licenses, and starts a law suite for criminal doings.
