Haier has released in China the N60, a G-net mobile phone that runs on the Linux operating system.

The phone is available in silver or black, and the screen can be twirled 180-degrees.

Haier says it chose the open-source Linux system to save costs while also obtaining a rich software environment for users. The phone features an MP3 player, 130 pixel CMOS camera, MPEG4 playability, as well as an SDIO and bluetooth exchanger. It is a tri-band phone that can work with GSM900/1800/1900MHz.
