Guangdong police announced they had reached a consensus with Hong Kong police and would cooperate with Hong Kong police and Macau police during a nine-month campaign against online pornography to stop the spread of unhealthy content to China from outside the country.

Nude pictures of some Hong Kong actors and actresses were recently spread to Guangdong and other parts of China. Guangdong police said that Hong Kong police and Macau police would notify them of any sexually explicit images and content coming to China and they would jointly take actions against these illegal content senders.

In addition, Guangdong police said that they would award people who report the illegal behaviors of spreading porn, gambling, fraud or other harmful information.
