China Telecom Launches First Customized 3G Tablet Computer
May 31, 2010Chinese telecommunications operator China Telecom has announced the launch of its first customized 3G tablet computer product named LifePad, which has an embedded EVDO module and supports China Telecom's 3G network.

Huawei Plans To Join Symbian Foundation
October 24, 2008Chinese telecom manufacturer Huawei has announced plans to join the non-profit organization Symbian Foundation, which is run by Nokia, along with nine other companies, including the British chip designer ARM and the credit card giant Visa, to gain free access to the Symbian mobile phone operating system software provided by Nokia.
