Chinese Internet company Tencent has formed a strategic alliance with Intel and Razer to develop a new RazerSwitchblade handheld device with Tencent's games.

Michel van der Bel, chief operating officer of Microsoft Greater China, has revealed that the company's software retail sales on the Chinese mainland increased by 109% year-on-year in the 2010 fiscal year ended June 2010.

Chinese telecommunications manufacturer Huawei said it has launched mobile broadband products that can support Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system, making Huawei the first Chinese manufacturer that supports the Windows 7 mobile broadband.
