AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc., a provider of software and solutions in China, today announced that it has signed a BOSS System Maintenance Contract with Zhejiang Mobile, one of the provincial subsidiaries of China Mobile.
Under the one-year agreement, AsiaInfo will provide professional maintenance services for Zhejiang Mobile's entire BOSS system in order to ensure system stability and optimum performance. AisaInfo will also provide technical training for Zhejiang Mobile employees to promote organization-wide familiarity with the BOSS system. AsiaInfo was also awarded a contract by Zhejiang Mobile to perform further functional upgrades of the BOSS system to accommodate the telecom carrier's rapidly growing business.
Zhejiang Mobile's BOSS system, the largest in China, is responsible for handling data collection, billing, accounting, settlement, comprehensive reporting, customer service and decision support for more than 14,000,000 Zhejiang Mobile subscribers. AsiaInfo initially provided the system to Zhejiang Mobile in June 2002.
