China Introduces High-Tech Measures To Detect Cheats

The local press are reporting that, for the first time in Beijing, a high-tech device will be put into use in examinations to prevent students from cheating.

The device is a cell phone detector which can distinguish any cell phone use within 30 meters' distance. It will be first used in college entrance exams for adults, which is specifically designed for adults who choose to study part-time to get a diploma. Cheating in this kind of exams is reported as especially rampant.
