The China Consumers Association plans to shift its focus this month towards technology products and IT businesses to ensure consumers are treated fairly.
Local media report that the Association will pay particular attention to after-sales services, warranties, and contract clauses for items suches as printers, software, and network games.
Chinese consumers sometimes fall prey to purchasing counterfeit printer ink cartridges, bootleg software, and illegally produced network game cards.
The Association is inviting consumers to report unfair business practices throughout the month at its website or through local telephone hotlines.
