Mop.com, a subsidiary of ChinaInterActiveCorp, will acquire Donews, one of the largest IT forums in China through a 100% share transfer.

Chen Yizhou, president of CIAC, hopes to get Mop.com listed next year as the first Web 2.0 project in China.

He also wants to create CIAC into an integrated Internet company that generates revenue through providing a wide range of Internet and online services in China.

Mop.com is one of the largest online entertainment communities in China. At present, it has 18 million online users and enjoys daily pageviews of more than 75 million.

Donews was founded in April 2004. It is one of China's the largest IT forums and one of the ten major blog websites in China, providing community, email, blogs, forums and news to its users.

There is no indication yet what the total value of Donews is and how much the share transfer is worth.
