HP (HPQ) has aquired enterprise-level application and database archive software provider OuterBay and is going to focus on China's growing database archive market.

HP says OuterBay technology helps the company improve a database's performance by 80% and further strengthens the company's position in the sector.

HP has opened a solutions display center at the HP Building in Beijing in order to expand China database archive market as rapidly as possible and to have more Chinese enterprises know about the powerful database archive service.
