Taobao.com, the largest online auction site in China, is enforcing new rules to punish illegal online behavior.

Taobao's new rules state that the company will remove counterfeit goods from its website after receiving complaint letters from brand owners.

Taobao.com says that owners of online stores that are closed will not be allowed to open new stores at Taobao.com within three to five years.

In addition, the new rules set a price limit for each kind of good, saying that those goods that are priced too cheap will be placed under observation.
