Telecom & Wireless

Hong Kong media reports that mainland China's telecom industry will be restructured with China Unicom (CHU) acquiring China Netcom and meanwhile selling its CDMA network to China Telecom (CHA).

A representative from China Telecom says they have not received any notice about this.

This may also be part of a wider government restructuring agenda.
