Digital China is extending its businesses from first-tier cities to some regional markets and will open two to three regional branches in 2007 in order to better explore the regional sector.
So far, Digital China has opened 15 regional affiliates across China and its sixteenth affiliate will land in Changsha, Hunan Province in mid-January this year.
Zhao Leiming from Digital China's Brand Marketing Department says as Digital China has strict internal review procedures regarding opening regional subsidiaries, the opening up of so many branches shows that the company's business has been expanding rapidly in recent years.
In April 2006, Digital China set up four subsidiaries, namely, a technology development company, systems technology company, IT service company and product group by separating its original four major businesses.
