Joyo.com Will Set Up South China Operation Center

April 25, 2007
Internet

Next month, Chinese online book seller Joyo.com will upgrade its small warehouse in Guangzhou to its new South China Operation Center, which will parallel its Beijing and Suzhou operation centers.

The foundation of the South China Operation center will help Joyo.com extend its service to the entire country. However, there are no details from the company on the scale of the operation center and the funds to be allocated to it.

Joyo.com will also launch a order form split service which offers more flexibility for consumers regarding goods delivery. This is the first of its kind service ever offered by an online book seller in China. It will allow a user to make one purchase but then split the delivery to multiple addresses around China. Companies such as Amazon.com currently provide this service overseas.

Joyo.com moved its East China Sales Center from Shanghai to Suzhou in November 2006. The addition of the new South China Operation Center means that Joyo.com has now completed laying out its business in north China, east China and south China.
