According to local media, the Chinese consumer surnamed Liang who previously accused Chinese Internet travel website Ctrip.com of supplying an invalid insurance policy, has failed to reach an agreement with Ctrip.com and will now file a lawsuit against four Ctrip affiliates.

According to Liang's lawyer Zhang Honglei, Liang will file a lawsuit against the Ctrip affiliated companies before March 15, 2009.

The four companies are reported to be Ctrip Computer Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.; Shanghai Ctrip Business Company; Shanghai Ctrip International Travel Service; and Ctrip Travel Information and Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

In addition, Liang will list China Ping'an Insurance (Group) Corporation as one of the defendants in his lawsuit.

Earlier, Ctrip.com apologized to Liang for selling him fake insurance policies and agreed to pay him CNY4,000 in compensation, but Liang is unwilling to accept Ctrip's offer.
