Hasee Beijing has resumed supplies to Chinese electronics retailer Suning.
The Chinese PC maker Hasee stopped supplying goods to Suning from March 1, 2009, and the company said the main reason for the supply suspension was that Suning had delayed the CNY50 million outstanding payments to Hasee. In addition, Suning had required increasing its profit share rate by 50% when renewing its contract with Hasee.
Suning said at that time that the contract between the two companies expired on February 28, 2009, and the two sides had not reached an agreement on profit sharing, so the new contract for 2009 was unable to be signed on time.
However, only ten days after the announcement of the supply suspension, Hasee decided to continue to cooperate with Suning, its only nationwide channel partner. So far, although the two sides have not formally renewed the contract, Hasee has reached an agreement with Suning and during the effective period of the agreement, Hasee's computers will still be on Suning's shelves. In addition, Hasee will set up a product display platform in one of Suning's retail stores this year and the project has reportedly already been started.
