Apple Inc. has announced that it plans to start selling iPad 2, the second-generation of its tablet computer product, in 25 countries and regions from March 25, 2011, and the new product will be available in Hong Kong from April.
According to the official press release of Apple, iPad 2 will first enter the markets of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The original list also included Japan, but the product launch was postponed due to the effect of the earthquake and tsunami in the country.
At the same time, Apple announced that it will launch iPad 2 in Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore in April 2011, and the sales range will be further expanded in the future.
