Informatica Appoints New President For Greater China

Data integration software provider Informatica Corporation has announced that it formally appointed Wang Qun as its president for Greater China, and Wang will be fully responsible for the company's businesses in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

After joining Informatica, Wang will focus on leading the sales team to complete its expansion to strategic clients.

Graham Sowden, senior sales vice president of Informatica Asia Pacific, said that Wang has rich professional and management experience and deep understanding of the Chinese market. With his joining, the strength of Informatica's Greater China team will be further improved; meanwhile, they will be able to implement their businesses more effectively in the Chinese market.

Before joining Informatica, Wang was general manager for IBM Lotus software in the Greater China region. Earlier than that, he was director of the financial industry sector for Microsoft China.
