Home Furnishings Website Closes RMB100 Million Funding Round

With real estate booming in China, more homeowners are relying on online services for home furnishings and decorations.

Yuezw.com, an online home decoration and furnishing start-up in China, is eyeing this growing market and has just closed a RMB100 million series A funding round led by China Merchants Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd., the venture unit of China Merchants Group.

Founded in August 2015, Yuezw.com is an online portal that connects home decoration and furniture suppliers with end users. Its Chinese brand name is Yuezhuangwang.

It currently operates in 20 cities in China via partnerships, and claims to have serviced users with aggregate deal value of over RMB100 million. It plans to expand to 100 cities by 2018.

The company says it will use the proceeds on product research, technology upgrade and building up its suppler network.
