China's DJI Builds First Drone Product Line For Corporate Customers

March 9, 2017

Chinese drone maker DJI has now targeted corporate customers carrying ample budgets with a new drone product line for corporate users.

DJI's drone products have attracted a large number of consumer fans, photographers, and cinematographers. However, DJI's new product line will not target those existing consumer groups.

DJI said that their new Matrice 200 series enterprise drones will be used to complete professional tasks, including infrastructure checking, construction site mapping, and public security services.

DJI's spokesperson said at their New York office that commercial drones will become mainstream in 2017. They will pay attention to the market's reaction to the product, but they believe this corporate drone product line has strong competitiveness.

The company did not reveal the price of Matrice 200 series, which is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2017.
