American automobile brand Ford previously announced via an email that the company plans to use C-V2X technology on Ford cars in China in 2021.
It is said that the C-V2X technology can enable interconnection between cars and between car and pedestrians, riders, and traffic lights, which will improve traffic safety and promote the development of self-driving technology.
The company plans to apply this technology on all new Ford cars in the U.S. starting from 2022.
Chen Anning, chief executive officer of Ford China, said that Ford's customers in China will be the firsts to enjoy the benefits brought by this new technology.
