According to reports in Singapore's local media, due to unable to remove all bikes within a prescribed period, Chinese bike-sharing service provider Ofo lost its business license in Singapore and the company will not be able to provide service in the local market.

Singapore's Land Transports Authority confirmed the decision and said that Ofo's business license was formally revoked on April 22, 2019.

It is said that Ofo's business license was suspended by the Land Transports Authority on February 14. Based on the order of the Authority, the company needed to remove all bicycles that were parked in public space before March 13.

At the beginning of April, the Land Transports Authority issued a notice of revocation of business license intention to Ofo and provided two weeks for a written statement.
