Oppo Signed VOOC Flash Charge Licensing Agreement With Eight Companies

Chinese smartphone brand Oppo announced that the company has signed VOOC flash charge licensing agreement with eight chip and end product companies.

Based on the agreement, the eight companies will be able to develop, make and sell chips and accessories that support the VOOC flash charge technology.

VOOC flash charge is a fast charge technology developed by Oppo. According to official statistics, VOOC flash charge has applied over 1,000 core patents around the world and the number of worldwide users of VOOC flash charge has exceeded 100 million.

In November 2018, Oppo formally announced to authorize its VOOC flash charge technology to external partners and it signed a related licensing agreement with six companies. At present, those six companies all implemented development of VOOC-related products.
