Biden's warning to China: USS Wyoming test launches Trident II nuclear missiles off Cape Canaveral

The US Navy successfully conducted a scheduled two-missile test launch of un-armed life-extended Trident D5LE nuclear missiles from the USS Wyoming on Friday. The USS Wyoming (SSBN-742), an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, was floating off the coast of Cape Canaveral, Florida when it completed the test, which was part of a Demonstration and Shakedown Operation, designated DASO-31. A DASO is conducted to asses the fitness of the ballistic missile submarine and its crew before being sent out for operational deployment after the ship's refueling overhaul. Friday's launch marks 184 successful missile test flights of the Trident II (D5 & D5LE)...
