Taiwan semiconductor sales get a boost from iPhone 13 chips Bank & Insurance By Jacky On Oct 10, 2021 Share Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing (TSM) reported strong September sales on Friday, pushing third-quarter sales modestly above expectations. But TSM shares fell on Friday. X The world’s largest semiconductor foundry received a boost during the period, thanks to the production of chips for Apple‘s (AAPL) iPhone 13 handsets. Taiwan Semi said September sales rose 19.7% year-on-year to New Taiwan dollars 152.69 billion, or about $5.51 billion. Sales increased by 11.1% in local currency from August.
