It became known that the Baikal Electronics company received the first large batch of Baikal-M chips. According to available data, 5,000 universal processors arrived in Moscow from Taiwan, which were manufactured at TSMC’s facilities by order of the domestic company. Due to the manufacturer’s workload and a number of other problems, the chips arrived late and in smaller quantities than planned. In the future, universal processors based on the Arm architecture will be shipped in batches of 10 thousand units per month, with the batch size gradually increasing next year.
