China pilots nationwide blockchain development on real use cases

The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) has announced the start of an internal effort to accelerate blockchain development and innovation in 15 areas and 164 entities. The initiative aims at the large-scale implementation of blockchain technology in enterprises and government organizations in China. The CAC, along with other government agencies, directed regulators to “promote the intensive and balanced provision of blockchain technology infrastructure in the region, form a supporting capacity of data exchange cross-chain at the level of large-scale production and to promote the formation of a multi-stakeholder collaborative ecology of the blockchain industry.
