LGBTQ dating app Grindr was quietly removed from the iPhone app store in China, a move that is likely to be a component of the country’s broader crackdown on what it considers illegal online content just days before the scheduled date to host the 2022 Winter Olympics. In addition to being removed from Apple’s App Store, the dating app was also removed from Android app retail outlets through Huawei and Tencent, Bloomberg first reported.
