[Taiwan sees strong March exports on back of continued electronics demand] Taiwan’s export orders in March hit $62.69 billion (NT$1.83 trillion), the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) said Wednesday (April 20). March saw a 21.6 percent increase in export orders from the previous month and a 16.8 percent bump compared to March 2021, according to the ministry. The figure also represented the 25th consecutive month of export growth, according to CNA. Export orders for the first quarter totalled $173.13 billion, a 10.1 percent decrease from the previous quarter but a 16.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year,...
