China has harshly criticized Canada for the decision to exclude the giants Huawei and ZTE from its telecommunications network, starting with the 5G networks, calling it "groundless" because of "non-existent security risks". "China is firmly against all of this," foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin thundered, assuring that Beijing "will take all necessary measures" to protect Chinese companies.
