India has blocked 348 apps: The central government has banned 348 Chinese-made apps, saying they stole data of Indian users and sent it to China. The government says it is constantly monitoring it. In the future, all such applications will be banned that do illegal work. Lok Sabha member Rodmal Nagar asked Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajiv Chandrashekhar whether the government has identified any apps (blocked 348 apps) that send information outside the country and if any apps are detected, should they be banned.
