Tanzanians urged to embrace ICT to spur digital economy

DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- A senior Tanzanian official on Friday urged fellow citizens to embrace information and communication technologies (ICT) with zeal, saying it will help the east African nation in realizing the digital economy. Nkundwe Mwasaga, the director general of state-run Information and Communication Technologies Commission (ICTC), urged the youth to be at the frontline in embracing ICT by coming up with more innovations.
