Chinese e-commerce giant, JD Super rolls out plans to expand its market share

Nearly 800 product categories have seen their sales revenue increase by more than 50% year on year on JD Super in 2021, while the gross merchandise value, or GMV, from the company’s one-hour delivery service, increased six times in the first eight months of this year, compared to the same period last year. There are over 50 brands on JD Super, each of whose sales revenue has surpassed 1 billion yuan ($143.6 million) this year, and more than 100 brands have seen their turnover exceed 500 million yuan.
