ASX to fall as Fed, BoE and BoJ policy meetings loom

On Wall Street, it was a tough session with techs leading losses as investors opted for the sidelines before this week’s Federal Reserve policy meeting. The expiration of billions of dollars worth of options led to a rebound in volatility. Chip equipment makers Applied Materials, Lam Research and KLA Corp all dropped more than 4 per cent after Reuters reported TSMC had asked its major vendors to delay deliveries. Nvidia dropped 3.7 per cent, Advanced Micro Devices lost 4.8 per cent and Broadcom and Micron Technology each fell over 2 per cent, pulling down the Philadelphia Semiconductor index down about...
