The country has outlined plans to build globally competitive BCI companies by 2030 as part of its broader technology ambitions. Meanwhile, Elon Musk's Neuralink has enrolled more than 20 patients in clinical trials for its Telepathy brain implant. However, the company is still awaiting full commercial approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), meaning its technology remains available only within regulated clinical studies.
