At Australia’s largest shopping centre, Chadstone, for example, retailers such as David Jones, Premier Investments’ Peter Alexander, Nike, Furla and Bed Bath N’ Table started Black Friday discounting on Monday and Tuesday, while H & M and Super Retail Group’s Macpac went even earlier, slashing prices by as much as 50 per cent almost a week ago. Not to be outdone, Amazon Australia is promising “epic deals” for 14 days, from November 20 until December 3. The latest round of discounts follows the Click Frenzy promotion in late October, new-season sales in September and end-of-financial year clearance sales in June/July….
