All EA Studios and Games In Development After $55 Billion Saudi Deal

As of Aug. 4, Electronic Arts has gone private. The venerable American game developer was purchased by a group of buyers that includes the Saudi Arabian government’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and two investment firms: Affinity Partners and Silver Lake. The all-cash transaction is valued at $55 billion and is thought to be the largest leveraged buyout in history, meaning that the deal is funded with roughly $20 billion in borrowed money.
