The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized Rs 106.93 crore lying in bank accounts and virtual accounts of non-banking financial company (NBFC) PC Financial Services Pvt Ltd under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), officials said. The financial probe agency is investigating a number of NBFCs and fintech companies under the anti-money laundering act for providing instant micro loans through mobile apps and then extorting high rates of interest using the personal data of customers illegally.
