Tesla also opened 6 Supercharger locations in Beijing at the end of August, increasing the total number of its Superchargers in the capital of China to nearly 800. In Shanghai, Tesla’s first China-based Supercharger station was launched in Jinqiao Town in April 2014. Currently, Tesla’s charging network already covers all 16 districts of Shanghai.
