Dolby Laboratories (DLB) has opened its newest office in Shenzhen to house sales, support, and business development personnel.

"Dolby is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and support, as well as world-class entertainment technologies. Many of our customers in China are OEM manufacturers located in the Shenzhen region; therefore, we have opened our seventh Asian office in that region," said Ramzi Haidamus, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Division, Dolby Laboratories. "With our Shenzhen facility, we can now work more closely with our customers as they integrate Dolby technologies into their latest innovations."

Dolby products and technologies are used extensively in consumer electronics and digital entertainment devices, including DVD players, home theater systems, television sets, set-top boxes, video game consoles, portable audio and video players, and personal computers.

The new Shenzhen office joins the recently opened offices in Seoul and Taipei as the latest additions to Dolby's growing presence in Asia, which also includes offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
