Reports from India have claimed that China has started deploying armed robotic vehicles to handle altitude and terrain which has proved very difficult for its troops. China and India, known as Shenpaoshan in China and Chushul in India, during a border dispute on the southern shore of Pangong Lake in September 2020, but the armies continued their standoff along the two countries’ borders throughout 2021.
