China Unicom (CHU), one of the two main mobile service providers in China, has completed the recruitment of deputy general managers for the marketing of its G net and C net in 15 provincial branches.

China Unicom says it won't release the name of the candidates until a later time. China Unicom said that the recruitment is to better meet the demand of the separate operations of its GSM and CDMA networks. The 15 provincial branches include Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Guangdong, Chongqing, Guizhou, Shaanxi, and Ningxia. Some of the winners were reportedly to be directly promoted from the general managers of some regional companies.

China Unicom initiated the recruitment at the end of February and held an exam at the beginning of March. As the recruitment involves many positions, it has raised wide attention from the industry.
